I started LSM Architecture in 2010 and we have grown into a small and friendly team working from our office in Edinburgh. We focus on residential and small scale commercial projects in and around the Edinburgh area.The mission of LSM Architecture is to provide high quality architectural services to individual clients. We like to work closely with our clients and we spend time listening to them to understand their building project needs. They help customers understand the designs clearly and early in the process, helping them to make better informed decisions.• We navigate and guide our clients through the various building permissions to make a complicated process as stress free as possible.• Key dates can be provided as part of a project timeline to help everyone plan ahead.• We provide clear and detailed drawings. This means less items are missed by the builder and less confusion on site.• We have good working relationships with other consultants and contractors, so we can assemble the right team to make the project possible.At LSM Architecture, the key services we provide are;• Home alterations and extensions. This can include simple reconfigurations of houses, attic and garage conversions, through to large extensions and whole-house remodelling.• New-build homes. We have experience designing and building one off ‘grand designs’ for clients.• Low energy designs. Energy costs and the environmental impact of buildings is a significant problem. We can design homes with high levels of comfort and low running costs.• Using design software that allows us to present designs in 3d early in the process.
