As VP of Operations, Lauren oversees the education, member services, and chapter events within the IFBTA. With a focus on connecting members across the industry, Lauren fosters relationships with industry leaders, and foodservice operators and vendors to promote networking, education, and opportunities year round.

From 2011 to 2014, Lauren planned and managed the educational content at the Foodservice Technology Conference (FSTEC), the National Restaurant Association's Technology Pavilion during their annual conference, and at regional TechVents for local operators in California, Georgia, and Florida. In 2014, the position formally transitioned to Director of Membership and Events when the IFBTA was created and she has held the position within the association until 2022. As the Director of Membership and Events, Lauren plans and coordinates event content and speakers, member relations, and event details. She creates and distributes attendee and promotional materials, and manages social media and event invitations.

EventEd brings together technology innovation and education to the global foodservice, hospitality, and retail industries. Bridging the gap between industry operators and suppliers, EventEd utilizes industry expertise and a vast rolodex to provide key industry connections and technology education to a variety of industry events throughout the year.

After four years working on the AFI Docs Press Team, Lauren became the PR Manager in 2014. Her many responsibilities included managing a press team to work with filmmakers, press, publicists and an internal team to ensure a successful festival. Her work garnered major media attention in the Hollywood Reporter, Variety, indieWIRE, Washington Post and many more. She then worked for AFI Docs as the Outreach and Social Media Manager in 2015. Lauren built relationships with festival filmmakers, producers, media personnel, and celebrity guests to ensure brand loyalty for the American Film Institute and AFI Docs. In 2016, she transitioned to the festival's Volunteer Manager where she continued to build the Docs brand internally and externally. Finally, in 2017, she was the Festival Forum Producer, managing and coordinating speakers, sessions, and events surrounding the AFI Docs Forum.

Lauren has worked with Arlington + Co. PR, acting as a key player to manage full-service PR and media relations campaigns for clients, including documentary and book releases and screening events. Most notably, Lauren worked as a member of the AFI-Discovery Channel Silverdocs Documentary Film Festival's press team. She coordinated press registration, media interviews and press events.

During her final semester in college, Lauren worked in the College of Health & Human Development at Penn State University as a development intern. She built relationships with College faculty, students, and alumni to plan & implement campaigns including her most notable, the department of Kinesiology's "Century of Excellence" event. Lauren created event invitations and promotional videos for the commemorative event of the department's 100 years. She coordinated all aspects of the event including attendee registration, awards, speakers and hotel logistics.

Lauren worked as a public relations intern for RMR & Associates and reported to the communications department regularly about client campaigns. Over the course of her internship, Lauren increased earned media coverage for various clients through experimental communications outreach efforts. While working to gain coverage for those clients, she utilized word and excel to manage case files and data on a daily basis.

Lauren served as a communications intern for Troika Entertainment. During her time with Troika, Lauren became the liaison between national touring shows, cast and crew and the communications team. She developed and maintained talent and media contact lists to build brand loyalty, while improving tour materials for talent by creating an efficient database filing system. Other tasks included creating marketing materials to create buzz and excitement among theatre attendees.
