Advanced analytics platform creation is Novartis’ ground-breaking initiative that harnesses the power of R&D data in one of the largestand most diverse datasets in the pharmaceutical industry to reimagine medicine. It applies machinelearning, artificial intelligence, and sophisticated analytics to generate new insights that increase ourunderstanding of disease and medicines, improve R&D decision-making and ultimately reimagine drugdiscovery and development. And to take this a step further, we are expanding data42 to create a first-of-its-kind, diverse ecosystem.As a Assoc. Dir. Platform Analytics play a role as Technical Lead for the platform and responsible to define Solution Design, working closely with product owners to define theirbacklog, define how to implement the story with s/w developers, drive the s/w developers with cleardeliverables sprint by sprint, driving technical discussion, and technical deep dive in case of any issue inthe products. I will be responsible for driving realization of data science andanalytics use cases on the platform to a successful outcome, through coordination with multiplestakeholders and also supporting any technical queries for users to on platform fortheir analysis. I have significant experience in data analysis and science, to understand thevarious users’ needs and to be able to define those in stories.

I manage the Multi-Dimensional aspects Big Data Platform and It's Integrations/Ingestions with Internal and External big data eco systems in a safe, cost-effective and reliable manner. I superintend the Ideation, Design and Development of new features/capabilities to enable Business use cases.I steer the formulation of the best-in-class end – to – end pipelines for the requirements. I adeptly handle the migration of projects from existing Big Data Stack to the our Big Data Platform ( Data42 platform ) in a seamless and optimal way. I drive the Agile methodologies together with designing and executing the required solutions in AWS/other cloud and integrate with Foundry. Some of my noteworthy highlights during this period consists of:- Major contribution during setting up the Big data Platform from the scratch. Led the design, development and execution of the integration to our Big data Platform ( Data42) with 15+ Internal platforms and 30+ external vendor platforms using the best practices Designed and implemented a supporting eco system tech stack in AWS for our Big data Platform ( Data42)  Published a best practices guide for users for best ways of implementing the use case over the Platform Implemented CI/CD with the help of Git, Jenkins, Ansible & Terraform tool stack and Containerized our work loads using Docker and Kubernetes. Ingested a 4 PB of data includes Structured, Semi-Structured and unstructured data into Platform. Implemented end to end pipelines to derive the insights. With the knowledge on Data Science ( ML/DL), I work along with SME Data Scientists to Create and deploy models.I also skilfully develop long-term and profitable business alliances with stakeholders, clients, business units & peers. With ease in handing complex, high-value technical projects simultaneously, I have a proven track record of ensuring continuous process improvement as well as aligning resources and delivery with the business goals and vision.

I spearhead the design and development of new workflows using Kafka in place of in-house message bus to overcome scalability, high availability and fault tolerance issues. I led the designing aspects of Hive workflows and contributed for Hive query optimizations for various use cases including deciding type of table [Managed/External], storage file format [Avro/Parquet/ORC], compression techniques, partitions/bucketing strategy, and data retention methodology.I administered the timely delivery of the tasks regarding the transformation and analysis of vast amounts of raw data from various systems using Spark to provide ready-to-use data to business analysts and customers. Furthermore, I directed the Data cleansing, scrubbing, curation, clean up, sanitization, pre-processing, transformation, ETL, consolidation and schema migration of unpredicted data sets using Spark core and Data frame functions. I worked with existing integrated applications setup i.e. Kafka and Redis along with utilizing various BI tools like Tableau, Super Set for data analysis. I also superintended the design and development of spark steaming application in Scala from scratch while optimizing the performance by tuning various JVM and spark configurations parameters.Some of my key accomplishments include but not limited to :- Increased application performance by tuning the JVM and Spark configurations by 3 times. Implemented a customer Centric Big data ecosystem for handling Tata CDN log traffic resulting in consistent and insightful analytics to customers for driving business in near real time Implemented CI/CD with the help of Git, Jenkins, Puppet tool stack. Containerized our work loads using Docker and Kubernetes.

As a Sr. Software Engineer, I led the development, operationalization and maintenance of products and solutions in a cutting-edge and next generation technologies in Big Data space. I headed the successful implementation of multithreaded subscribers and publishers leading to scaling of the platform capacity 4x times. I explored and evaluate new capabilities and products related to Big Data Analytics ecosystems. Participate in the creation of documents, guidance as it relates Big Data technologies. I guided the development teams on usage of tools BKMs, best practices, prescriptive guidance and standards. I steered the development of Big data automation capabilities for ecosystem management (DevOps, CI/CD, workload, maintenance, capacity and monitoring/alerting). I also fostered the knowledge sharing and represented team in presenting new capability findings, project status and deliverables in various internal forums. Developed and supported standards / frameworks while supporting the cloud DW subscription and capacity management. I handled the project integrations of Cloud Data platforms.Additionally, I performed the analyses of structured and unstructured data to solve multiple and/or complex business problems utilizing advanced statistical techniques and BI analyses and broad knowledge of the organization and/or industry. During this period, I steered the design and implementation of telecom back end applications flow for enhancements and bug fixes.I led the coding for features, bug fixes while preparing high level, low level design documents. I revamped and transfigured the telecom applications like SCP-NG to replace multiple country wise instances with single global instance which can handle whole traffic leading to cost saving in terms Hardware and man power to maintain. Lead by monthly bundle releases and emergency business critical releasesProved excellence in administrating multi-dimensional and intricate projects seamlessly and efficiently within agreed timeframes, quality parameters and resources limits. With a methodological and visionary approach, I stayed abreast of the global trends to establish a market dominance and develop the applications catering to the customer’s demands and needs. Moreover, I delivered robust and highly valuable inputs for the impactful development of the designs and levitation of the stagnant areas.
