Project Manager - Lead Consultant
• Accountable for the establishment of the first Integrated Federal Health Care Center (FHCC) to serve both Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) and Department of Defense (DoD) beneficiaries. Direct and manage the planning and implementation of all Integration change management initiatives, including the formation and coordination of complex, multi-year program timelines in accordance with regulations of both the DVA and the DoD.• Demonstrate innovation in project management by advising and maneuvering highly complex business and technical solutions to fulfill both Departments’ political, economic, and technical requirements.• Manage project budget in excess of $4MM.• Maintain and evolve FHCC PMO process standards, including structure, processes, roles/responsibilities, and tools/templates. Provide inter-agency oversight and direction on usage of FHCC PMO standards.• Align the Integration scope and strategy amongst 100+ client stakeholders, including the DVA Under Secretary for Health, the Assistant Secretary of Defense (Health Affairs), and Congressional staffers of the Veterans’ Affairs Committees, the Armed Services Committees, and the Appropriations Committees.• Motivate and lead project team members including the Director of the North Chicago VA Medical Center (NCVAMC), the Commanding Officer (CO) of the Naval Health Clinic Great Lakes (NHCGL), and their respective medical center staffs. Coordinate and align each team member’s experience and expertise with personal and project goals, creating a collaborative and successful matrix environment.
