As a sexual health nurse i works at a clinic that deals primarily with family planning or sexually transmitted diseases (STIs ) and contraception. I responsible for providing information about various types of contraception. A sexual health nurse we speak to patient about HIV and AIDS. This is to raise awareness and hopefully prevent the spread of these conditions. We talk about the various ways these diseases can be contracted and recommend ways to reduce the chances of being infected. People who feel they might be at risk are usually encouraged to be tested for these diseases.So would I recommend this role? Yes without hesitation Im loving it so far. There is never a boring day, and work is challenging but rewarding. I like the fact that my hours are fixed and this works well for me. I work in a supportive team.
