As a graduate in Aerospace Engineering at N.C. State University, I have been challenged with a competitive curriculum that emphasized critical thinking skills and the ability to learn new ideas quickly and efficiently. My curriculum culminated with completing a capstone project responsible for designing a controller and writing guidance laws and an autopilot for a high powered spinning rocket. I enjoy hands on engineering and seeing the finished product of something that I designed or worked on.CAREER EXPERIENCE:As a NCO in the Marine Corps, I learned the aspects of good leadership from mentors and personal experience as a squad leader of a diverse group of people. I worked in a technical environment as a Server Systems Marine which required being able to quickly respond and adapt to numerous challenges. Using the critical and creative thinking skills I honed in the Marine Corps and in Engineering, I led a $240,000 capital project as a Co-op for PCC Airfoils that semi-automated a resin impregnation process, increasing process productivity and reliability.
