Hi there! Welcome to my LinkedIn page. My name is Stephanie Estrada (she/her). I'm a Master of Public Administration candidate at San Francisco State University. In the last two years as an MPA candidate, I've had the opportunity to expand my skills, add new ones, and hone in on my goals - to serve and provide for my community, family, and friends. As a current Master of Public Administration candidate, I serve on the Board of the SFSU International City/County Management Association (ICMA) student chapter as the Vice President. ICMA helps foster a community among students in the SF State MPA program. It helps build a network among classmates, and it helps introduce new members to management roles in local government. I've also had the privilege of being a recipient of the Willie L. Brown, Jr. Fellowship Program for SFSU's MPA program (2019-2021). As a fellow, I had the opportunity to be part of the Controller's Office of Public Finance for the City and County of San Francisco. The experience exposed me to interagency collaboration and the dynamics of city government. I've also had the pleasure of meeting and hearing inspirational stories from current and past city leaders (Mayor Brown and Mayor Breed). I've gained public administration tools such as effective leadership, teamwork coordination, communication, and how to continue efficiency and effectiveness during a global pandemic.
