My career started working in the Defence industry for Harris Corporation who had a contract with the Royal Australian Air Force to design and deliver Test Program Sets for the F-111 avionics upgrade program. I developed test program sets that ran automated tests on an ATE test station developed by Harris to test all the aircraft's avionics. I managed a small team of Engineers in the role of Lead Engineer. From there I worked in Telecommunications for Ericsson performing software development, maintenance and testing. I also had the opportunity to travel to Germany for a 9 week period to system test in an Ericsson R&D Lab. with a real world mobile phone network running test cases for Lawful Interception features. From there I moved into the Automotive sector working in an R&D environment for in vehicle electronics modules developing automated tests for embedded software, this is when I first started using LabVIEW for testing. From there I moved into the Public Safety and surveillance field to Integrian who designed and manufactured mobile DVRs for using in trains, buses and police cars. I was performing and overseeing testing on the DVR and Video Offloading Server software in the role of Lead Verification Engineer. From there I moved in the petroleum industry with Honeywell developing automated tests of firmware for products used to load fuels and apply volume correction to industry standards.
