This marked the commencement of my role as an Air Engineer Officer of Naval ALH MK I, following the successful culmination of my comprehensive aviation training at the Naval Institute of Aviation Technology, Kochi, and the attainment of an MTech in Aeronautical Engineering from CUSAT. Throughout my tenure, I shouldered diverse responsibilities, including the management of Divisional Duties (HR) for 15 sailors and overseeing all aviation operations from the squadrons in my capacity as the Line Air Technical Officer (ATO).I was entrusted with a significant responsibility—the comprehensive overhaul of an ALH aircraft at Naval Aircraft Yard, Kochi, marking the first-ever inspection of its kind at NAY (K). In my role as the Office-In-Charge, I gained invaluable experience through this maiden undertaking. Notably, the entire inspection unfolded during the initial COVID-19 lockdown in March 2020, introducing unprecedented challenges. Managing liaisons with the Hindustan Aeronautical Limited (HAL) and the Depot for acquiring spares, as well as orchestrating the onsite deputation of OEM expertise, presented some of the most formidable hurdles that demanded innovative solutions.

Moreover, my role also involved direct customer interactions at the front-line office, enhancing my ability to deliver exceptional service while representing the brand with utmost professionalism.
