As a Senior Partner at CDO Executives LLC, I leverage my 28 years of law enforcement experience and multiple lead instructor certifications to train police officers and government agencies on how to better interact with diverse and marginalized communities. I am passionate about building trust, awareness, and partnerships between law enforcement and the LGBTQ+, deaf, autistic, minority religions and cultures, and communication-challenged groups. In addition to my role at CDO Executives, I also serve as a Lieutenant at City of Elgin, IL, where I oversee four sergeants, 30 patrols officers, and five civilian employees. I initiated and led a campaign for better interactions with our LGBTQ+ community in 2017, which expanded to other underserved and underrepresented groups. I also work as an Assessor at IOS, Inc., where I evaluate candidates for promotional assessment centers. I am looking to network with fellow change makers who share my vision of human rights and equality.
