Responsibilities include:• Recruit clients for participation in relevant CIS and M-CEITA technical assistance programs. • Conduct onsite assessment of current state, gather data –discover issues and barriers and identify internal QI/PI champion (including physician champion). • Work with practice to set goals and improvement aims (clinical and operational) relevant to the technical assistance program in which they are participating and to close the gap between current state and desired state. • Review, analyze and adapt workflows for EHR vendor-specific quality reporting capabilities and Meaningful Use (MU) objectives. • Assist clients with reporting and resolving EHR performance issues. • Identify opportunities for improvement (OFI), prioritize tasks, validate improvements, and develop implementation plan. • Implement desired changes and prioritized improvements • Provide coaching and practice transformation advisory services to providers and office staff through a combination of onsite and remote assistance – utilize Lean /Six Sigma techniques and tools to drive quality and operational improvements. • Educate providers on eligibility requirements for participation in the Medicare and Medicaid EHR incentive programs and the Physician Quality Reporting System. • Assess annual encounter eligibility thresholds required for the Medicaid EHR incentive program for both individual and group proxy option.• Assist clients in successfully completing the registration and attestation processes for the EHR incentive program.

• Ensures the accurate abstraction of principal patient information categories through following EMR abstraction guidelines and standards.• Performs accurate and complete abstraction of at least 20 patient medical records per day and follows EMR abstraction guidelines and standards.• Contributes to the team effort by working to meet NextGen EMR implementation objectives and remains proficient in the use of the NextGen EMR application.• Assists in the implementation of clinic-wide programs, policies and procedures to ensure clinics are compliant with Federal and State laws and regulations from Medicare and Medicaid.• Assumes responsibility for personal and professional growth through participation in department meetings, in-service programs and continuing education programs.• Participates in all safety, security and infection control programs that are mandatory as well as those required and provided by the department.• Demonstrates work practices consistent with Alegent Health and department-specific safety, security and infection control policies.• Responsible for the successful completion of EMR implementation at team “Go-Live” sites.
