I am currently a Project Estimator at DMI Paving & Sealcoating, where I provide accurate and competitive bids for various projects in the paving and sealcoating industry. I work with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and engineers to ensure the quality and efficiency of the work. I also use Microsoft Excel to create and maintain databases, reports, and schedules. Before joining DMI Paving, I served in the US Navy for more than eight years, gaining valuable experience in leadership, customer service, and talent acquisition. As a Boatswain's Mate, I was responsible for the maintenance and operation of the ship's equipment and systems. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, I prospected and processed qualified applicants into the active and reserve components of the Navy. I am bilingual in English and Spanish, and I have a Secret Clearance. I am pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Construction Management from Florida International University, where I am learning the fundamentals and best practices of the construction industry. I am passionate about this field and eager to apply my skills and knowledge to real-world projects. I am a highly motivated and trainable individual, who enjoys working in a team environment but also can complete tasks independently. I value integrity, professionalism, and excellence in my work.
