Trained, supported and supervised volunteer Parent Group Leader's to deliver EPEC 'Being a Parent' courses in Children's Centres across Nottinghamshire.

Responsible for ensuring the involvement of parents/carers and relevant community groups in the planning, management and delivery of services in the Children's Centre and ensured families and local agencies were kept informed of activities and services.

Worked across Broxtowe, Gedling and Rushcliffe liaising between Children's Centres and adult and family learning providers to organise courses for parents, carers and families.

Worked with WEA Branch volunteers as well as colleagues and partners from the Adult and Community Learning Service in Nottinghamshire to co-ordinate a schedule of courses each term. Supported a Project Manager in the delivery of a project to develop IT suites in community centres in the areas of St Anns and Sneinton in Nottingham city. Once the IT suites were in place a programme of courses aimed at adults with little or no experience of using computers was set up and delivered.
