Rick Lynch is the Founder & CEO of R Lynch Enterprises. As CEO, Rick delivers passionate & motivational speeches about adaptive leadership - something he is extremely well-versed in. R Lynch Enterprises, LLC does not stop there. Rick is passionate about giving Leadership Tours at famous American battlefields, allowing others to experience what he has to say against the backdrop of our Nation’s biggest successes & failures.Rick’s position as CEO is certainly not his first rodeo as a leader. As a junior in high school, Rick asked his guidance counselor (Eilleen Lowell) where he could go to school if he had no money, & she recommended applying to the Service Academies. He asked how much they cost & learned he would be paid to attend. Made good sense to him! He attended West Point only because he received that particular letter of acceptance earlier. The postman truly determined his fate.The Army transitioned from a job to a passion. Rick was blessed to command at all levels, from company (~100 Soldiers) to Corps (~65,000 Soldiers), & ended his career commanding all of the US Army installations. All of this experience has shown Rick that Soldiers & their Families are the true American heroes.Over the course of his Army career, Rick experienced a lot. He was there when the first female cadets entered the Academy. Early in his career, he saw the effects of Vietnam & the early transition into an All-Volunteer Army. He was blessed to be in Fulda, Germany in November 1989 when the Warsaw Pact crumbled & the East Germans experienced freedom for the first time. In the first Gulf War, he saw firsthand the impact of man’s inhumanity to his fellow man. During his one-year deployment to Kosovo, he was able to learn the generational consequences of hatred between sects. Over the 30+ months Rick spent in Iraq, he saw the direct results of proper application of our Nation’s power as we help other peoples move to a better life. He was able to better understand, along with all of our other Service members & their Families, the true cost of freedom.The best thing Rick ever did was marry his beautiful bride, Sarah in December, 1982. Sarah is a professional educator with a caring heart. Over the past 41 years Rick & Sarah have focused on taking care of America’s most precious resource - those Soldiers & their Families. Rick and Sarah have two amazing children - Susan, her husband David, and their daughter, Piper. His son Lucas has two children, J.W. and Rex. Rick and Sarah are also avid dog lovers, & enjoy time with their Labrador Retriever, Jolene.
