As the head of Operations at Ennead Architects, Latoya Nelson Kamdang leads the development and execution of organizational infrastructure, workflows, deliverables, and tools to support design excellence and project delivery. With over 20 years of experience in architecture, interior design, planning, and strategy, she brings a holistic and innovative approach to managing the practice and enhancing its performance and culture.Latoya is also a U.S. Fulbright Senior Scholar, Adjunct Professor at Pratt Institute, and a board member of several professional and civic organizations. She has taught and researched on urban settlements, indigenous architecture, material theory, and sustainable technologies in Taiwan and the U.S. She has contributed to diverse and award-winning projects, such as the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture, federal overseas facilities, and aviation and civic projects in NYC. She is passionate about advancing the field of architecture and design, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion, and mentoring the next generation of designers.
