Conducted and published primary research and thesis in Air and UAS Warfare in peer threat, non-permissive environments. This included going to Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) at Pearl Harbor, HI and conducting a series of interviews with Colonel Timothy ‘Raptor’ Hogan (A-10 combat pilot and commander), on a variety of subjects on Air Warfare. After gathering relevant research, conducted requirements analysis and definition, performing synthetic tests of Air Warfare scenarios in thesis research.Conducted a further four years of applied research. Designed and conducted high fidelity tactical scenarios of Air Warfare in synthetic environments, for Operations Analysis and research, as a Data Scientist, to analyze and understand current and future states of peer threat, non-permissive Air Warfare environments, (CCA, and military AI in those environments); based on requirements analysis and definition. Refining these processes, developed strong synthetic simulation and data science experience in applied research. Extensive experience in high fidelity synthetic environments of F/A-18c, F-16c, A-10c and F-14B platforms. Built VR machines, from the ground up with hardware software integration of HOTAS/VR and simulation software. Built extensive data sets and applied research for machine learning and military AI application. Expert understanding of CCA and military AI application for NGAD. This applied research was conducted to quantify the impact of new operational concepts (CONOPS), system design variants, payloads, weapons and tactics, and force size/mix on survivability and mission effectiveness of UAS, CCA, and AI in contested Air Warfare environments. Extensive research of military systems performance and operations. Very experienced analyzing simulation results using Data Analytics to draw meaningful conclusions.
