Perform QC and correlation studies according to hospital policies, procedures, and guidelines. Maintain documentation according to clinical laboratory standard to ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation agencies (CAP, TJC, CLIA, AHCA). Perform phlebotomy procedure, specimen collection and processing for routine testing, reference lab testing, research, and genetic testing. Patient and family centered care oriented to meet the needs of the patient and to ensure quality service and patient satisfaction. Additionally, assist and participate in hospital core laboratory QA/PI projects with auditing exercises to improve and promote excellence in turn-around-time performance.
