Main Achievement:Joined Lordegan Fertilizer Construction Project of Iran. To act as Deputy Expediting Manager to manage vendor performance and expediting related works for Post-PO packages. Main packages I am responsible for are foreign packages and critical packages. The challenges are different working cultures between foreign vendors, limited overseas projects experiences of local vendors, and so on. Since took over the packages, I created clear and smooth communication channel between Engineering, to make sure engineering issues get timely closed, and to minimize the delay of packages. I also get fully support from project Owner and vendors through my efforts in the works.On the team management side, I disassemble the works and targets, and allocate to corresponding colleagues. To collect progress information against established schedule, and to review and solve related issues with colleagues. To help colleagues establish works plan, to prevent and minize the potential risks.Main Responsibilities:1. Vendor design management. To make sure vendor follow the latest engineering specification and drawings, and timely close technical queries.2. Progress management. To push vendor follow the project progress requirement and overall work schedule established by vendors at the beginning of their works.3. Deal with PO amendment.4. Together with Inspection and Logistics teams, to carry out inspection related works, and to prepare for transportation.5. Other expediting related works for Post-PO packages.

Project Introduction: the Oyu Tolgoi Project Management Team is in charge of the operation and management for the construction and mining of The Oyu Tolgoi mine. This management team is invested and found by both Ivanhoe Mines and Rio Tinto Group. Oyu Tolgoi is the world's largest undeveloped copper-gold project and is located in the South Gobi region of Mongolia.Main Achievements Supplier Management: expedition for the products delivery; communicating with suppliers to establish the pick-up and transportation plan; supervising the quality for both products and packages; monitoring and solving the service failure from suppliers. Inland Freight Management: establishing the pick-up plan; lashing and strengthening design; on-the-way cargoes monitoring; cargoes security monitoring during the transportation; incidents handling. Inventory management: statistic for the cargoes stored, regular storage report edition; establishing storage plan for the incoming cargoes, according to Border Crossing Plan. Management of cargoes EXP & IMP: assigning the Priority Level for all cargoes, and establishing the corresponding Border Crossing Plan; application processing for the special cargoes, such as chemical goods and DG goods. IMP & EXP documentation edition: communicating with the brokers and suppliers, and preparing the IMP and EXP declaration document according to the regulations from both Chinese and Mongolian Customs. Monthly bills management: for both transportation charges, and transportation related charges.

During the parallel run stage, I was in charge of the daily operation monitoring, and the communication with headquarter of Asia Pacific, vender and the related departments. On-site supporting for Hang Zhou Gateway ECE system implementation, and staff training. Consultancies for the declaration related questions from clients. Guidance for the forms and documentations preparation required by declaration for clients. Inventory management, and the arrangement for emergency shipment. Never get complaints from customers since the first day when take the customer communication position.
