Lu Lu leads the U.S. investment risk team at DWS focusing on alternative investments. Before DWS, she worked for 15 years at Goldman Sachs across Asia, Europe, and the U.S., building and enhancing risk management frameworks, risk appetite and strategies, effective risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring programs, as well as high-performance teams, and covered asset management and trading businesses across public and private equities and derivatives, fixed income and real assets.In 2023, she took a one-year career break to pursue personal wellness and traveled to Silicon Valley and Austin to explore entrepreneurship via VC and startup activities. She also developed a new career coaching framework to help people unleash their entrepreneurial spirit for life and work.She is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), a Financial Risk Manager (FRM), and a CTI-trained co-active coach. She earned a master's degree from Columbia University, and enjoys traveling to make new friends, meet old friends, and explore new frontiers.
