Director, Community Learning And Engagement
Oversaw development, delivery and evaluation of suicide prevention (upstream), response and bereavement programming for youth, adults and older adults. Managed training program that engages and trains 1500+ service providers annually in suicide response, de escalation, trauma-informed care, and skills and tools for emotional regulation and self- care. Collaborated with agencies, schools, communities and indigenous nations to enhance suicide response, including training development of protocols and training/supporting new safeTALK and ASIST trainers across BC. Collaborate with school counsellors in responding to suicide risk and loss.
