CurrentI am working on the University's strategic Transnational Education Initiatives, positively impacting the University’s Future Making - Pillar of Excellence #1 Connected to the global world of ideas. Value added to the role beyond the position description: - Facilitating a positive relationship with internal international departments and teams (such as Global Engagement, International Recruitment, International Admission, Student Mobility and Career Services), and external stakeholders (e.g. StudyAdelaide and international recruitment agents)- Contributing to the key closed-loop marketing strategy of high-achieving student engagement from recruitment to graduation - Liaising with the Academic Director to deliver cultural awareness training to academics on "Project 985 Universities in China", their management structure, and high-achieving student profile- Providing high-level advice on inbound and outbound student study tours in terms of business model, funding application, experience design and arrangements- Contributing to student recruitment activities by identifying academic and student representatives, generating pathway-tailored presentation slides, and answering student enquiries- Designing, planning, managing, and delivering events and programs for 100+ pathway students such as pathway student conferral events, and pathway student orientation & transition program- Project management of offshore teaching visits in China for more than 1200 students by establishing the standard operating procedures (SOP) and Quality Assurance frameworks- Contributing to pathway admission policies including drafting memos and proposals for course mapping, scholarships, English and academic entry requirements Involved Award: - The Professional Staff Award - Collaboration (Team) within the Division of Academic and Student Engagement (DASE)- Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) Award for Excellence - Haide Course Design and Development Project
