I am currently an associate professor at the Institute of Software Chinese Academy of Sciences. My research focuses on blockchain consensus, decentralized applications, and threshold cryptography, including:* Making asynchronous BFT consensus more scalable and faster to secure Layer-1 blockchain infrastructure deployed over the adversarial Internet.* More efficient threshold cryptosystems that require less trusted setup with applications in blockchain systems.* Building the first secure decentralized applications for human intelligence aggregation and peer-to-peer content delivery on top of blockchains.* Constructing secure protocols for complicated smart contracts and superlight blockchain clients via game theory and mechanism design.
