About Luis Flores

In my late twenties, with the support of my family and friends, I decided to enroll myself in a cybersecurity bootcamp. I wanted to change careers and actually work in a field which constantly involves and is surrounded by the one thing I'm truly passionate about - technology. Throughout the bootcamp I was exposed to another level than I can ever imagine technology is involved in, from Microsoft security to Network security to Cloud security and so much more. During the bootcamp I started to apply to entry-level IT positions and was able to obtain a full-time position as an IT Help Desk Technician, which not only was I excited but nervous as well. While I still do not fully know what role I want to end up in, currently leaning towards the cloud environment, one thing is for certain I feel great, motivated, and continuously learning whether it's going through the fundamentals, grasping new concepts, or learning the tools currently in demand.
