Magenta Field is creative design and production studio based in Brooklyn NY. Founded by the artists Katherine Brice and Chris Lunney. The studio brings an art based approach to each of their projects combining technical expertise with aesthetic acuity. With foundations in Architecture, sculpture, design, and technology, they have the expertise to create authentic experiences from precision objects to large scale public installations.Magenta Field approaches each project with a sensitivity towards materials, fabrication detailing, potential lighting, and sound. Their experience with every aspect from design through production allows a streamlined process for their clients.

HOVVER is a art studio based in Brooklyn and now lead by artists Lua Brice. The studio creates work which investigates our physical perception in relation to our understanding of reality. Through the process of play and experimentation the studio investigates the perception of light, sound and space. These experiments are then developed through the principles of design and iteration to present works that focus on the viewer’s experience. Their work leads the viewer to become a participant, which aim to manifest visceral, ethereal, and introspective moments within mind and body.

Our main client during this time was 'Game of Thrones' for which I was part of a team that created a 16' x 8' map of the whole known world. My role included, Presentation renders, Design proposals, Running 3d printing lab, creating mapping files, and physical painting and fabrication.

Produced construction and fabrication drawings for the installation of a fossil visitors center at Thatcher state Park.

Brooklyn based design and Build firm that specialisez in the production of window displays for high end retail stores. Clients include Dior, Chanel, hermes and van cleef and Arpels.

My role was to digitally translate and produce all the shop drawings, CNC files and graphics files for Rachel Feinsteins 'Folly' sculptures for Maddison Square Park .

Oppenheimers work spans the disciplinary boundaries between sculpture and architecture. Her calculated manipulation of standardized spaces disrupts the embodied experience of spatial continuity. Oppenheimers work both disorientates and clarifies the experience of the built environment.During this internship one of my main roles was to physically make models to help sarah test her ideas. Through this process i was taught the value of rigor and precision. It gave me a unique understanding of light and space. We explored the role of perception and i learnt to examine how the visible space is intwined with the non visible. We examined how subtle shift in the boundary of the envelope can alter someones perceptual interaction. I was involved in the early stages of development for three projects including :33-d Kunsthaus Baselland. Switzerland. 2014 (seen below.)

Design create proposals for different small scale projects.Working directly with the fabricator to create fabrication and assemblage drawings.

Worked as part of a five person team on a medium sized institutional project. The building was called Pathways and was an educational facility for Latrobe university. I gained experience in all parts of the project from sketch design through to design documentation.

CAD documentation, 3D modeling, diagraming, laying out presentations. Worked across many projects of varying scales. Including educational facilities, and feasibility studies for Heidelberg 2030.
