Responsible for modelling solutions in risk management using statistical techniques in SAS to build Basel II compliant risk models to PD (Probability of Default), EAD (Exposure at Default) and LGD (Loss Given Default). Focused on corporate and financial institution modelling in order to feed into capital calculation and satisfy regulatory requirements.

Under the Basel II project, was responsible for preparing Corporate portfolio for Basel II submission. Concluded database gathering, data warehouse construction and PD model development.

Provided data extraction and database manipulation using SAS (Guide, Miner and Base) and Business Objects. Developed decision trees, cluster and statistical models for sales, churn and customers segmentation. Worked with time series models to predict sales using economic data. Defined criteria of public selection to be used in marketing actions and direct mail and measured the results of marketing campaigns against its costs.

Developed Credit Scoring and Behaviour Scoring models to be used in the credit approval process for retail. Manipulated enormous databases in SAS to perform models monitoring (stability and performance) and economic studies to evaluate the gains of the models.
