I currently serve on the Board of Directors for Silicon Valley based social singing app Smule and as an Advisor to start-ups in the food, transportation and fashion industries. I proudly served on the Board of Directors of Umpqua Bank (NASDAQ: UMPQ) as well as nonprofits First Graduate and SF Travel. I have held e-commerce Advisory roles for the CEOs of LVMH’s Fendi brand and Moleskine notebooks.Previously I spent six amazing years at Virgin. As CMO at Virgin America, the #1 US airline became profitable, went public and was ultimately acquired. Responsibilities: marketing & brand strategy across channels, advertising, creative & design, social media & content creation, CX, e-commerce, PR communications & earned media, promotions, product development, entertainment & events, data & analytics, research & insights, loyalty program & credit card business, SEO/SEM, performance & programmatic media. I have also held executive roles at Walmart and Gorillas, Berlin where I was the CMO. I was Google’s first Creative Director where I led the brand globally and developed first-of-their-kind campaigns. I helped bring Google products directly to consumers and enterprises including Search, Gmail, Maps, Shopping, Apps, YouTube and the launch of Android.I founded my own start-up, Mixed Marketing, with clients including Calvin Klein, Netflix, eBay and Yahoo!. Prior, I was Director of Marketing at Yahoo! where I formed the first-ever buzz marketing team delivering innovative marketing campaigns focusing on earned media.As VP Marketing at Joe Boxer Apparel, I launched our early days digital presence and helped double revenue. My career began at world class advertising agencies including Goodby Silverstein & Partners and CHB/AKQA.Recognition includes Fast Company's "Most Innovative Marketers," Brandweek’s “Marketer of the Year," Mashable's "Women Shattering the Glass Ceiling," Cannes Lions, Effies, Webby Awards, Shorty Awards for Social Media and a TED "Ads Worth Spreading."
