I am an Associate Professor with a diverse background in Computer Science and Management Information Systems. Since September 2008, I have been a valuable member of the faculty at Gulf University for Science and Technology (GUST), where I've made significant contributions to the field of mobile networks, Information Systems, and software engineering.Before joining GUST, I served as the lead Mobile Network Solution Architect at Alcatel-Lucent (Nokia) in Naperville, USA. During my tenure there, I was responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge mobile solutions, cementing my reputation as a thought leader in the field. Additionally, I held a part-time professor role at IIT, Chicago, USA.With over 15 years of professional experience in networking and software engineering, I have worked in a variety of roles at industry giants like AT&T, Lucent Technologies/Bell Labs, Alcatel-Lucent (Nokia Currently), and IBM spanning both mobile and fixed networks. Throughout my career, I have taken on various responsibilities, ranging from software development for advanced GSM features to system engineering for VoIP, system design for 3rd Generation Mobile switch, lead solution architect for a mobile solution, and finally, a lead Project Manager for consumer's voice over IP (cVoIP) and IP Television (IPTV).My extensive expertise in academics and industry is reflected in my contributions to numerous reputable journals and conference proceedings in the areas of software engineering, software maintenance, Information systems, and wireless technology. I have published over 50 conference and journal papers, showcasing the results of impactful research.Specializing in Software Engineering, Model-Based Testing, Test Suite Prioritization, Software Impact Analysis, Mobile Network Solutions, search-based algorithms, and Network Management, I continue to be an influential figure in academia and the technology industry, offering valuable insights as a speaker and consultant.
