I graduated from the Mussorgsky College of Music in St. Petersburg, Russia, with a major in Piano Pedagogy and Performance. I also studied at Kneisel Hall in Maine with Seymour Lipkin.Shortly after immigrating to the United States, I became accompanist for the Arizona State University Departments of Dance and Choral Music. I also accompanied and recorded for Ballet Arizona and West Valley Symphony.For a brief time, I accompanied for the Department of Dance at the University of California Irvine. While there, I performed with such entertainers as Patrick Swayze, Irena Kolpakova, and Mikhail Barishnikov.I am also a featured accompanist for the annual Arizona Vivaldi Festival held at Arcosanti in Mayer, Arizona for several years, which moved to the Phoenix valley recently. I currently teach privately at Love for Music Piano Studio in Chandler, Arizona. My students perform in annual recitals and participate in performance and theory exams.Now based in Chandler, Arizona, I am a dedicated and passionate Piano Instructor with a rich background in music theory and performance. With over 50 years of experience in music education, I specialize in classical piano and am committed to fostering an environment of comprehensive musical understanding and appreciation.Through Mussorgsky Music College and incorporating Irina Golin's work, I have developed a unique teaching approach that combines traditional techniques with innovative pedagogical methods. My training in Russian classical music instruction, primarily, has enabled me to nurture students' talents and guide them to achieve musical excellence.I am proud to have been recognized for my ability to cultivate students' skills and confidence, preparing them for performances, examinations, and lifelong enjoyment of music.
