Currently working on:Murrindindi Black Saturday bushfire class action - representing victims of the bushfire that destroyed Marysville in class action against AusNet Services (formally SP Ausnet), whose electrical assets are alleged to have started the fire. Recently settled class actions:Kilmore-Kinglake Black Saturday bushfire class action. This hard-fought class action settled for a record-breaking half a billion dollars after 18 months of trial in the Supreme Court of Victoria. My involvement was primarily in the area of preparation of expert evidence. Bonsoy class action - $25 million settlement achieved for consumers of Bonsoy soy milk who were injured as a result of excessive levels of iodine in the soy milk, prior to its recall in December 2009. The class action was investigated and initiated by me in 2010. About 500 injured consumers will be eligible for compensation in what was the largest, successful, food safety class action in Australia.
