(Fall 2024) Graduate TA for COMPSCI 648 - Quantum Information Systems under Prof. Stefan Krastanov.Fundamentals of quantum information systems, including quantum computation, quantum cryptography, and quantum information theory. Topics include: quantum circuit model, qubits, unitary operators, measurement, entanglement, quantum algorithms for factoring and search, quantum key distribution, error-correction and fault-tolerance, information capacity of quantum channels, complexity of quantum computation.

Worked under Prof. Krishna Kumar and Prof. Andrea Pocar on projects relating to the development of the nEXO experiment. Worked on:- Characterization of electron transport in Xenon - Data analysis of drift velocity and lifetime with varying parameters (electric field, laser voltage) - Characterization of electronics and signal processing chain- Simulation tools to measure optical properties within the cryostat - Measurement of reflectance of various materials using simulations - Implementing a unified model into Chroma to be able to more accurately model dielectric-dielectric interfaces

Studying parity-violating electron-electron scattering under Prof. Krishna Kumar, developing the MOLLER experiment to be hosted at Jefferson Laboratory hall A.My projects have included:- Designing an algorithm to smooth bounding contour curves of an electron-density 2D histogram, without losing detail where error is low.- Upgrading server and compute cluster hardware and setting up operating system and software- Developing a 3D renderer that supports raytracing to run a simulation- Learning how to set up and calibrate Photomultiplier Tubes (PMTs)

I have worked as an undergraduate teaching assistant for Physics 181: Intro to Mechanics (F21), Physics 281: Computational Physics (S22, F23), and CS 490Q: Quantum Information Science (S24).For these roles, I have been present in-class to help students working on exercises and problem sets, held office hours and exam review sessions, and graded assignments.
