Luc is the founder of Berube Intellectual Capital (BIC) which specializes in consulting services in Intellectual property including competitive intelligence analysis, IP risk protection, Intellectual Property management assistance and IP strategy.After his graduate studies Luc held a Post-Doctoral/Research Associate position at the National Research Council in Ottawa and since then he has trained and eventually qualified as a patent agent working first as an associate in a number of large, national law firms where he acquired extensive experience in patent drafting and prosecution, patent portfolio strategy and management and patentability/infringement/validity opinion preparation. More recently Luc has practiced at a small biotechnology company and at a large pharmaceutical corporation where he has acquired further experience in the management of Intellectual Property and more broadly in the management of Intellectual Capital.Luc has given lectures on Intellectual Property management in the MBA program at Queen's Universtiy and has written a number of articles on various aspect of Intellectual Property in addition to giving lectures and conducting workshops.
