As an electrical engineering student at Cal Poly SLO, I have had the opportunity to work on cutting-edge research projects and collaborate with industry leaders. My work spans across various domains, including biomimetic artificial muscles, circuit design, biofuel initiatives, and high-voltage applications. I have contributed to both Boeing's biofuel project at calpoly and a US Navy's research lab on microfluidic muscles/Biofuel cells.At the Boeing-funded biofuel lab, I played a pivotal role in optimizing processes, developing scalable autonomous solutions, and enhancing system efficiency through the creation of advanced microfluidic chips. Recently, I managed cross-functional teams and spearhead chip development to fully automize PEF algae lysis. My focus on continuous improvement and effective communication has driven successful results in the field.I also had the privilege of conducting research at the US Naval Postgraduate School, focusing on two key areas. In microfluidic design optimization, I developed techniques to clear complex microfluidic designs and improved scalability through CAD design and FDM printing. My work involved validating electrical theories at the micron scale, contributing to advancements in biocompatible microfluidics with potential impacts on medical, industrial, and military applications. Additionally, I tested new materials for improved wetsuit performance, exploring innovations in protective gear. This research combined cutting-edge technology in microfluidics with practical applications in material science, showcasing my ability to work on diverse projects with real-world implications.
