As a Field Service Engineer, I provide second line technical support on fielded flight simulators. Troubleshoot technical problems and issues, determine technical solution in accordance with product and customer specific specifications, and resolve issues independently or recommend actions to company or customer representatives for a coordinated solution. Conduct technical analysis of product implementations, modifications and enhancements to product in accordance with specifications. Work is performed either in the office providing remote support, or in the field across the world. Both planned and short notice, brief or extended field trips are performed throughout the year. Conduct technical training and product briefing with customers, vendors and company representatives. Act as local on-site representative to customer’s organization when in the field.
