‘Day one or one day’ -Paulo Coelho. I read his book ‘The Alchemist’ and while searching him up, saw this quote and it resonated with me.Through my years of schooling and the many opportunities I’ve been given, I have been given the opportunity to interact and work with people from different walks of life. Having an exchange program in my school allowed me to interact with youths from China and understand the differences between us but also the similar struggles and aspirations that we have. Going on an Overseas CIP to Hainan also allowed me to see the different tempos of life that people have, while making me cognizant of the privileges that I possess due to my country of birth. Organising and planning local CIPs such as tutoring children once again gave me the chance to see how I can impact and help youths within my own community. Having gone through all these experiences, there is a common theme running through them which is they were all human centric. I realise that I draw energy and am passionate about helping and interacting with people from all walks of life and hope to do so in my daily life.• Adaptable • Team player• Deep thinker• Attention to detail
