September 2003: Master of Science in Electronic Engineering at Politecnico di Torino.I spent 6 months in Eicas Company working on my Master's degree thesis, focused on the innovative project of a new printing machine implementing on-board distributed intelligence through CAN-bus application.In October 2003 I've been hired by the GLT Company (URMET Group) as firmware/software C++ Programmer for LON-bus architectures in the Building Automation field.In July 2004 I've been hired as external contractor in the Fiat – General Motors Joint Venture, where I started my long experience in the Automotive Industry covering the role of Design Responsible Engineer for electronic components such as glow plugs, solenoid electro-valves and intake manifold swirl actuator.In October 2005 I've been hired by General Motors, where I followed the full development/validation/production cycle of many electro-mechanical components (glow plugs with and without pressure sensors, solenoid valves, throttle body) across all Euro4/5/6 Diesel Projects, starting from the suppliers and technology selection until the PPAP sign off and the quality monitoring in the field.My responsibility includes project plan definition/execution/tracking, 2D/3D definition and release, technical requirements defintion and deviation evaluation, virtual/physical validation, Change Management Process, FMEA development and monitoring, quality monitoring during the development and in the field though problem solving approach and leading Task Forces for issues resolution.Continuous interaction with Controls, Calibration, Validation, Quality, Manufacturing, Purchasing and Benchmarking TeamsOne of my most important task is the suppliers management, tracking the development plan and supporting the manufacturing process review and the resource coordination. I visited many manufacturing plants and engineering sites around the world, from engine to vehicle plants, from raw material plants to components assembly lines, leading technical reviews and supporting PPAP audits.Furthermore, an important and very satisfactory part of my job is to mentor junior collegaues in my Team.I spent 15 extraordinary years in one of the most important EOM in the Industry, leading the development and execution of many complex projects and working with several teams around the world dealing with a multicultural environment.Now in PUNCH Torino I have the opportunity to continue this experience with bigger autonomy and a new level of responsbility in the technolgy selection and suppliers development.
