I am currently a Master's student studying Terrorism & Insurgency at the University of Leeds, graduating in 2024. Between 2020 and 2023, I completed my Bachelor's Degree in International Relations at Leeds, achieving a First Class with Honours. ​I have a longstanding interest in military aviation and defence and I have applied this wherever possible to my academic journey so far. Air Power has thus become an integral part of my work and research. I have tailored my studies to forge an in depth knowledge of subject matters relevant to my interests. These include modules relating to: Middle Eastern and African Studies, Security Studies, British Foreign Policy, Nuclear Weapons and Terrorism Studies. This culminated in my Undergraduate dissertation, which analysed the effectiveness of Drone Warfare in coercion against non-state actors.I have researched and written on behalf of the Freeman Air and Space Institute at King's College London, discussing key issues relating to British and European Air Power, including the Royal Air Force's air-to-air refuelling capability and Agile Combat Employment. Additionlly, I have produced feature-length and news articles on a variety of topics for the leading aviation titles AirForces Monthly and Combat Aircraft Journal. Examples of my published work can be found on my profile.Between 2021 and 2023, I spent time as an Officer Cadet on the Yorkshire Universities Air Squadron. At the squadron, I developed my leadership and teamworking skills in a military environment and consolidated my interest in Air Power, gaining first hand experience of the Royal Air Force and the UK's security apparatuses. I was also the student lead for delivering Air Power training to the squadron.
