I have many functions as an IT and EDP manager: particularly in staff management for the IT projects, but also serving as application developer, database administrator, and project manager in a wide variety of business applications. I am particularly interested in client/server and relational database design using DB2, MS-SQL Server, and MySQL. I am always interested in migration projects, especially in accounting and management or ERP software. My current role is based on continuous interaction with hardware and software suppliers. Strong points: hardware and software purchasing, client/server architecture, DB administration, web design (especially based on CMS architectures), Business Intelligence (SAP BO XI, BOARD, HYPERION, QlikView), AS400, and ERP administration. In the Company I used to work for before, I also occupied the position of Logistics Manager. For that role I had to define the processes to optimize the storage and distribution of goods. My main task was to ensure that the right products were delivered to the right location on time and at fair price. So I needed not only to define the right working procedures for the Warehouse team, but I was also involved in processes like transportation, stock control, warehousing and the monitoring of the flow of goods.
