Supervised laboratory work for second year physics bachelor students. Graded their bi-weekly reports and gave constructive feedback to improve their paper writing skills. Supervised on average three groups of two students per day.From Septembre 2023 until Decembre, I also assisted during the exercise for the Course "Introduction to elementary particles and Nuclear physics".

- Defined and supervised multiple student projects- Increased collaboration between the team's research and EPFL's research- Took care of the project proposal necessary for obtaining the required budget- Participated in multiple promotional events to increase the team's visibility- Took part in a project working on orbit predictions, telescope detection capabilities and satellite streaks modelling- Increased the number and diversity of the team members

- Took care of recruiting students, defining the scope of their projects with a supervising professor and the student and supervising the projects during their work.- Spearheaded the creation of the team as a legal entity and the recognition by EPFL.- Spearheaded the acquisition of the team's first telescope, including camera and motorized mount.- Actively took part in the project proposal towards the MAKE committee at EPFL to obtain the desired budget.

I have been selected as a summer student for 11 weeks at CERN. I am working on implementing a new charged track isolation tool for LHCb Run III, using simulations and machine learning. The work has been implemented in the LHCb software. I have received an honourable mention for exceptional performance for the Karbach Prize. The award is distributed to LHCb summer students.I followed lectures on high energy physics, covering a large breath of subjects (particle accelerators and detectors, experimental and theoretical HEP, and statistics); I also followed some OpenLab lectures on machine learning and GPU programming. I participated in workshops on Madgraph and e+e- colliders data analysis.

Took part in the Summer Student program at DESY (Hamburg). In this programme, I took active part in research in particle physics, working in the LUXE group. LUXE is a proposed experiment to measure electron-photon interactions in high EM field. I adapted simulations to study the optimal geometry of one of the detectors. The detector studied (combined with the magnetic field) acts as a dipole spectrometer. The detector consisted of hundreds of gaz straws, where the Cerenkov light yielded the signal. The optimisation was done with detection efficiency, acceptance and energy resolution in mind.Next to this research work, I attended lectures on wide topics related to particle physics (theory, experimental results, detector and accelerators, X-ray imaging).I had the honour to present my project to the FTX (future experiment research group at DESY), to the LUXE collaboration. I have been selected as one of the few students to present their research to all summer students.
