• Led deal sourcing and due diligence, including review of legal documentation and reports from advisors.• Spearheaded refinancing, restructuring, and fiscal responsibilities for various deals.• Facilitated meetings and maintained communication with external lawyers, tax advisors and accountants.• Earned multiple promotions within the company thank to multiple successful deals.• Served as Board Member and CFO of Carlyle Real Estate SGR SpA, established in 2009 to manage Italian real estate deals.• Invested €1 billion in several real estate deals, of which more than €200 million directly sourced all divested generating €500 million of profits.• Closed €250 million of refinancing transactions.• Managed construction sites totaling €100 million in refurbishment capital expenditures and supervised leasing activities for 100,000 sqm of space.Key Transactions:o Secured the acquisition of a mixed-use property in the city center of Milan; asset included 15,000 sqm of retail and office space to be partially converted into residential units.o Initiated the preliminary contract for the purchase of a 40,000 square meter office building in the city center, set to be repositioned and refurbished into an A-class office space.o Closed real estate portfolio sales to JP Morgan for €60 million, Lehman Brothers for €115 million, Generali for €100 million, BNP Paribas for €86 million and a Real Estate Fund managed by Beni Stabili for €77 million.

Contributed to Mergers & Acquisitions within the real estate department, developing financial models, conducting business research and analyses, delivering presentations, and drafting Information Memoranda.
