I am Senior Manager of the Technical Consulting Service Line in Wood, responsible for the European operating offices of Milan and Madrid. The Service Line helps its customers improving the operational efficiency of their assets, embracing the energy transition momentum on topics like decarbonization, green and bio products production, fuel switching.I lead a team of people that delivers consultancy services to various end markets, including oil & gas, conventional power, renewables, chemicals, petrochemicals, steel industry etc. I am responsible for the Profit & Losses of the European Operating Units.I develop business opportunities through scouting, monitoring of the market sectors, managing technology development programs. I coordinate the preparation of commercial and technical proposals, working very closely to the commercial and technical team, depending on the specific opportunity.I have a strong process background, being involved in process design delivery for about 20 years, with a particular focus on the energy transition, including mainly CCS, hydrogen (green, blue, gray etc.), SAF, HVO, e-fuels etc.I joined Wood since 2000 as process engineer and I was appointed as Process Manager in 2008, then Process Director in 2013. Since 2014, I started covering also Sales Manager duties and then I become responsible of the Technology and Consulting service line since 2018. In my career, I have successfully worked for a large number of international companies and organizations, like ADNOC, ENI, OMV, British Petroleum, Shell, Siemens, EPRI, ERG, IEAGHG, The World Bank, etc. In my key previous experience, I have worked in SISAS S.p.A. (1998), Limito (Mi), as production engineering at the isophtalic acid plant, coordinating field activities, production process, training of the personnel and commissioning, start-up and commercial operations of a new section of the plant

As “Clean Energy Sector Leader” of the AMEASE (Asia, Middle East, Africa, Southern Europe) region, I perform the following key activities: - Cooperating with Clean Energy Business Developers, operating in the AMEASE region, helping them in the definition of the strategies and of the operating model to be followed for each opportunity; I also support the selection of specific prospects that best reflect the Company Strategies and its Operating Mode.- Help Amec Foster Wheeler’s management in the definition of the strategies for the preparation of the responses to Request For Proposals (RFP), Request For Information (RFI), Request For Quotations (RFQ), Expression Of Interest (EOI), Pre-Qualifications (PQ), etc.- Promote key Company products and technologies, set the strategies for their market penetration to selected Customers.As Process Director, I perform the following key activities:- Basic and detailed engineering design of power and chemical plants for the combined production of steam, power, hydrogen, chemicals etc.: conventional combined cycles, co-generation power plants, Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle plants for the production of power and chemicals from low-grade fuels, Ultra-Super Critical Pulverized Coal (USCPC) power plants, Circulating Fluidized Bed power plants. Major area of expertise on power and chemical plants with capture of the carbon dioxide.- Project Management of Power and Refinery projects up to Front End Engineering Design (FEED) of power and chemical plants.- Preparation of technical and commercial proposals of power and chemical plants.- Consulting and due-diligence activities for the power and chemical plant types described above.- Manage engineering team assigned to specific projects, preparing contractual documents and controlling project budgets.- Manage process team of the Power Group.
