With the addition of Prodar (in-process measurement systems) and Opto products' responsibility, I manage mechanical product development for all the commercial divisions.This role consists in leading products from the very first prototype - in coengineering with design offices - to standard production, and supporting production maintenance too. The responsibility takes in account connected processes, as shopfloor technologies, end of line testing machines design, investments and IIoT.The group consists of 20 technicians, included labs.

Technology laboratory works in the field of special processes: both for testing items involved with them and normalize processes. This lab, doubled from one to two technicians, is the technical spearhead when it comes to heat treatments, corrosion issues, gluing, washing, material choosing, metallurgy and SEM inspection.

Testing lab carries out environmental and metrological test on products, both on prototypes and on final product before starting sales. The laboratory gives a go/no go response and often a numeric value to the specification of the product.

Validation manager acts as an interface between sales, technical and production managers during design and launch of a new product. At the beginning of the design phase writes a validation test plan, in order to specify what (and, numerically, how much) will be the tests to be carried out before selling the product. Then, after having positively finished tests, makes a validation report, which is a summary that gives to each manager the assurance of achievement of specification: metrological target for marketing, functions and environmental behaviour for design, process feasibility for production.This process, with the addition of EMC and safety tests, lead to the emission of the Declaration of Conformity.

In 2016 I started to manage a group of 5 people on manufacturing engineering: tool and machines design for production, product development for post process division (Testar).At the beginning of 2018 another commercial division, Mida, was added to my responsibilities. Topics are the same but on different products, in this case measuring systems for cutting machines. Group grew up to 12 people on product development.

This role consists in supervising a small shopfloor with 4 operators, reserved for manufacturing of prototypes and tools for production. It's a very flexible and responsive area, in which all new products pass.

After a period of training on simple line and post process products I became process coordinator for them. I followed development and production of new products. In 2015-16 I managed technical aspect in a big investment in shopfloor for a precision component, which from 2017 I entirely manage.
