Seismic forward modelling based on hierarchical procedure starting from two geological models (Sardo-Provencal basin and Levant basin), made up of cells representing the geometry and physical properties (P-wave velocity and density), and creating new models, as result, emulating the forward process of propagating waves from sources down to subsurface and back to receivers. Simulation process deal with the investigation of complex geometries associated to the Messinian salt layers.
