After graduating in Mechanical Engineering at University of Genoa, I finalized my education path obtaining in the same Athenaeum the Postgraduate Master’s Degree in Industrial Plants, Engineering and Technologies (MIPET), promoted by major companies in field of power generation, iron & steel making and environmental technologies.Since 2009, I have been working for Paul Wurth, company devoted to engineering, erection and commissioning of iron making plants, with growing positions.Today, as senior project engineer, I am in charge of planning, coordination and technical execution of complex EPC projects in order to assure contractual obligations and fullfill customer expectations. My duties and responsabilities include a wide range of tasks during all project phases (from bidding stage up to after-sale services), among the main are: customer, sub-contractor and supplier management; coordination of internal teams and linked companies; general supervision and vetting of engineering; critical technical task management; plant risk mitigation.Lastly I have been, and I am still, involved in some important R&D projects, in the following fields: heat pipe manufacturing; NOx emissions from iron making plants; cyanide compounds abatement in blast furnace gas and cleaning water; dry reforming of coke oven gas.
