About Luca Tomassetti

I am a very committed, enthusiastic, reliable and honest individual with over 20 years experience within the food and beverage industry as a Chef and Group Executive Chef. I have experience in prestigious hotels in the UK and Italy. Great level communication skills. I am profit focus and driven to succeed within a fast paced, target driven environment. I am a good leader, interacting well with senior management, team members and guests. I take great pride in my high standards, providing quality food. I work to establish required food cost, stock control and H&S standards. I am highly organised and am able to prioritise tasks to ensure all deadlines are met. Over the past 2 and half years I made the change from Hospitality to Education; working for the Bishop Wilkinson Catholic Education Trust as a Catering Manager at first, looking after the Food & Beverage operations in a large secondary school with 1400 students and 140 staff and as of last September 2022 I stepped up to Cluster Catering Manager retaining my secondary school as well as gaining 10 primary schools in County Durham. Along with two other Cluster Catering Managers we oversee over 40 primary schools and 3 secondaries (soon to be 5!)
