Luca Zecchini Email and Phone Number

My name is Luca Zecchini and I am a research fellow in the DBGroup at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, where I previously completed my PhD program with Prof. Sonia Bergamaschi and Prof. Giovanni Simonini as advisors (I will defend my thesis by the end of May 2024). During my PhD I spent two visiting periods at the Hasso Plattner Institute (HPI) in Potsdam (Germany) to carry out my research activities under the supervision of Prof. Felix Naumann. My research is mainly focused on big data integration, with a special interest in the tasks of entity resolution, data preparation, and dataset discovery. Previously, I obtained my bachelor's and master's degrees in computer engineering at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia in 2017 and 2020, respectively. I was the runner-up at the SIGMOD 2020 Programming Contest and I took part in the organization of the 2021 and 2022 editions.
