As a specialist adviser for business insurance, I work collaboratively with my clients and colleagues to generate the best possible outcomes. Tying in with accounting, legal, audit, investment, consulting and other specialists, I save my clients time and provide well rounded, accurate insurance advice. Solutions that just work better.Whilst I am passionate about the greater role insurance plays in business and our community, I know that for many, insurance is a 'must have' and not the next Ferrari, MkIII Cortina or an outdoor leather couch (I do miss my Alfa Romeo). So keeping that in mind, I leverage off my experience in starting, running and selling my own business - I know the insurance and business ‘pain points’ and how best to manage them. I appreciate too, how Covid has changed the playing field. I keep myself current in the industry by attending regular training seminars and industry events and by reading not just about what is happening now, but what has happened in the past (I have no small amount of pride that the Genoese were amongst the first to properly use and exploit the commercial benefits of insurance hundreds of years ago!) Insurance is one of the oldest, but least understood ways to transfer risk but when done correctly, it's a game changer. Proactive, holistic advice ensures it works the way it should; if it's not fit for purpose tomorrow, it probably shouldnt fit your plans today. I have presented at various client conferences, at industry specific events and run training sessions for my clients, their staff and their families. I am always open to doing more of the same.
