As Chief Technology Officer, I drive the constant evolution of our leading technology platform and I bring with our team the power of automation to the wellbeing and health industry.

I was the technology expert for the Business Resilience program of the bank, I have realised a web-based application to support the bank-wide Business Resilience framework and I have implemented integration across tools of the Business Resilience, IT Continuity and Crisis Management areas of the bank.My role involved: - Requirements definition for the Business Resilience toolset through analysis of policy and standard, workshops with SMEs, Design Thinking activities and user feedback. - Full stack design and implementation of a web based application to automate building, testing, analysis and reporting on organisational resilience. The stack is mostly based on MySQL, Ruby on Rails, Javascript. Some of the features of the application are: - Execution of approval workflows based on user roles. - Asynchronous data aggregation and analysis to guarantee up-to-date reporting - Appealing data visualisation - Periodic as well as event-driven notifications to users and admins. - Implementation of integration between from and to this web-based application. - Consulted at various stages of the Business Resilience program as technology and toolset expert, including evaluation and roll-out of systems across different business units of the bank.

I designed and developed the POC of a web application to support and guide the IT service continuity processes of the bank. Some activities in scope were: test planning, test execution and creation of automated recovery schedules. The POC was built in .NET technology as per requirement of the department.My role was involved in the whole software life cycle and included: - Design and of the system architecture - Design and implementation of the front-end, with a special focus on user experience.The development followed an Agility approach with daily Scrums and period iterations with users’ feedback.Other duties performed in this role: - Modelling effectiveness and efficiency KPIs - Implementation of integration and orchestration between existing tools

Consulting on design and development stages while I co-authored a research paper based on my MSc thesis where we propose an axiomatic approach to Information Retrieval effectiveness metrics.Some other projects I worked on at this time: I designed the architecture and organised the development of an android app for a promising start-up; I developed the porting of a legacy ERP to .NET framework 4.5.

I designed and developed the web UI of an e-learning portal, core product of this start-up company positively entered in the market.Duties:• Design of the web interface enhancing the user experience;• Development of the web pages following a responsive web design using CSS to format XHTML pages dynamically provided by a Java application.

I participated in the design and in the early stage of the development of a 3D virtual reality immersion therapy system.Duties:• Design and development of the architecture of the engine to enable interactivity and customizability in real-time for the 3D simulation;• Collaboration with the medical team to design a proper user interface;

I worked on a number of projects on three-dimensional user interfaces including design, development, user interface testing and algorithms optimization.Main achievements:• I designed and developed an engine for facial expression of 3D humanoids based on the simulation of multilayer elastic surfaces, implementing it in Java and VRML;• I also optimized the algorithms and the geometric model of the engine to enable the real-time animation via web;• I carried out the user testing and experimental study of navigation interfaces in 3D environments.
