Progettazione di un sistema indossabile wireless per l’encefalografia (EEG) extra-ospedaliera. Rispetto ai dispositivi esistenti sul mercato, questo sistema è caratterizzato da una flessibilità molto superiore per quanto riguarda il posizionamento degli elettrodi; ciò permette di raggiungere tutti i punti del sistema internzionale 10-20 e di coprire un ampio range di pazienti. Consente inoltre di riposizionare gli elettrodi presenti nelle vicinanze dell’inion (prominenza alla base dell’osso occipitale) per poter utilizzare agevolmente il dispositivo durante il sonno (polisonnografia). Questo sistema per EEG è inoltre il primo al mondo ad utilizzare elettrodi a secco.Un primo prototipo di studio è stato esposto presso il Museo Nazionale Scienza e Tecnologia Leonardo da Vinci nell’ambito della mostra AB MEDICA 3.0 (10/9/2015 -31/10/2015).
