I officially joined Net7 company board as an Associate in February 2013: I've been working at Net7 since April 2010, first as a consultant and later on (February 2012) as a full-time member of the staff.Together with presales and business management activities, I've been involved as Technical Analyst & Project Manager in several projects (see the "Projects" section of my profile) for private customers and public administrations.I have been also the technical coordinator and the project manager of several research projects, based on EU or national funds.

In 2008 I started an activity as an Information Technology consultant, focusing on Project Management and the Analysis and Design of mission critical web-based architectures based on open source software solutions.I've been also directly involved in presales activities, managing tenders for Italian Public Administrations projects and European Community funded research initiatives.A list of the most important projects I've been involved in follows:- Business Development, project management and technical presales for Net7 srl (2010-2011)- Technical presales for Hyperborea srl (2009-2010)- Technical Manager for the CHIRMS project (2008-2009, for Liberologico Srl). Customer: Regione Toscana.- Project Manager for the Parco degli Etruschi project (2008 for Ksolutions Spa and Publisys Spa). At the beginning of 2005, for a personal choice, I decided to concentrate mainly on innovation and assumed the role of R & D Director and Vice Chief Technical Officer.I defined the company’s technical strategies and directly supervise R & D initiatives and the development of in-house software frameworks.I was also the main driver of the interest in Open Source technologies in this company and have been directly involved in various Open Source projects, namely the CMS Kaistar (http://sourceforge.net/projects/kaistar/), the e-learning assessment project JOIN and especially OpenPEC (www.openpec.org), which empowers the current PEC offering of the leading Italian ISP Aruba.

As the company Chief Technical Officer, I managed the whole company technical division, supervising a team with up to 70 IT professionals (75% of Software Developers and 25% of System Administrators).I actively collaborated in presales activities, writing and supervising technical annexes, in particular for important e-government tenders for Italian Public Administrations.I was also one of Ksolutions’ ISO9001 internal auditors.

I led important web-based projects from the beginning of the "New Economy Era".In particular I was directly involved in the most significant Internet initiatives of the media group Gruppo Editoriale Espresso, like the launch of La Repubblica newspaper web site (Jan 1997 www.repubblica.it) and the development of several portals for Kataweb (the Internet Division of Gruppo Editoriale Espresso).In 1999 I became an associate of the Aleph company, which later was totally acquired by Gruppo Editoriale Espresso and changed its name in Ksolutions.From June 1999 (until June 2008) I was appointed as an Executive Manager (Italian Contract "Dirigente") in the company.In April 2001 I became the Director of software division of Ksolutions.
