About Luca Di Stefano

My experience in the automotive sector started in 1999 and since then I was focused on latest technologies, attending to International Symposiums in Europe (CTI, VDI, TAE), Russia (RPI), USA (CTI), China (CTI).I covered responsibility of Global Technical Relationships with Fiat Group (FCA, IVECO, CNHi), for Automotive Functional Fluids (Driveline, Hydraulic (including THF) and Brake fluids, Greases), supporting PLI Global Key Account Managers, Supply Chain and Marketing Depts. to evaluate and lead business cases and strategies.I always worked in direct contact with major transmission manufacturers (Allison Transmissions, Arvin Meritor, Carraro Drivetech, DANA, GKN, Magna, Oerlikon Graziano, ZF,...), managing the validation programs to get their approval on PLI driveline products.Liaising with additive suppliers to identify the proper technology, following internal development and final validation program at the OEMs.Since 2006 I was directly involved in Emerging Markets (BRIC) lubricant developments, understanding through the onsite experience the local cultures, in particular Indian and Chinese.After a long experience in Technology area, I moved to Global marketing as Global Product Portfolio manager for Commercial Vehicle Lubricants (CVL), Agriculture and Construction Lubricants (ACL), Automotive Functional Fluids (AFF), using my technical background as added value to lead and develop PLI’s product portfolio creating a strong “Reason-to- Believe” on PLI advanced technology.
